Capitol Street which will be converted into 31 affordable residential apartments.  Scheduled to open in the early Fall of 2017, the community is designed to offer 31 one and two bedroom apartments featuring community areas and art gallery/studio space.  The affordable property will provide leasing preference for veterans, disabled individuals, artists and medical industry workers.

Applicants will be asked to verify identity via a government issued i.d. and social security card.

Capitol Art Lofts will provide a leasing preference to the following individuals who also meet the income and background qualifications
  • Artists -  Defined as: visual artists, artisans, sculptors, craftspersons, writers, graphic designers, computer artists, woodworkers, musicians, persons in dance, movement, theater, textile, culinary, film, photography and fiber arts; (2) Derive income from their creative work; (3) Express a commitment to continue in their field.
  • Medical Professional Personnel - Who works in a health care facility located within five miles of the property.
  • Disabled Residents
  • Veterans
ANNUAL GROSS INCOME LIMITS:
